Presentation Title
Why Talks Need Titles: A Story
Track Preference
In The Clouds (a 45 minute talk about my experience as a .....) or
In The Weeds (a 45 minute talk about how technology or software X will make Y possible)
In The Beginning (a 25 minute talk for introductory talks and presenters)
Keywords and Abstract (200 words max)
Abstract: Presentations at conferences are in desperate need of titles. Without them, how would we ever know what talks are supposed to be about? I had the most interesting experience trying to submit a talk without a title once... and this is the story about how I quit worrying and learned to embrace the Title. In fact, it's had an amazing impact on my life and that's what this talk is going to be about. Riveting stuff, right?
Keywords: Titles, topics, life experiences
Bio: J Dandy has been fascinated with titles for a whole five minutes, just now. When not working to promote sunbeams and rainbows as part of the Cats Without Catnip foundation, any spare time is spent enjoying palindrome humor and practicing butter sculpture. Despite being cheesy, no dairy was harmed in the making of this bio.
Presentation Outline:
